I grew up playing hockey in the driveway at home and ice hockey through the Semiahmoo minor hockey association. I was a goalie there for 9 years, I discovered the sport of roller hockey at the age of 16 and never looked back. Over the years of playing roller hockey, I’ve been exposed to all aspects of the sport. Coaching youth, reffing, being a player and a goalie, having run tournaments and helped with leagues. I’ve now played in 5 different roller hockey leagues around BC, every League has been run a little bit differently and its been great to learn all of the differences on how leagues operate. Its been a childhood dream of mine to be a part of a roller hockey facility full time, and I’m grateful to be given my chance. I would like to offer thank you to Scott Hill in Langley, Dave Randall and Greg Crompton in North Van, Bryan Panchuk in Vancouver and Cam in Nanaimo. All of you have helped me learn about this great game of roller hockey, i hope to do justice to the inspiration you have passed on. I want to be able to help grow the game that I love, and get as many people as possible interested in the sport. Next time your at the rink, please come in and introduce yourself, I look forward to meeting all the players who come through the door.
