The Hockey House, Youth Ball Hockey Fall Winter season.
The Hockey House is back with Youth Ball Hockey for the 2024-25 Winter Season.
Please find enclosed the information needed to participate in the season.
Season Overview 2024/25:
- 18 Sessions through the Season.
- Set Days to allow for a consistent schedule.
- All games at the same location.
- One game per week commitment.
- Online Schedule and Stats kept for all players.
- 3rd party Coaching and or pre qualified parent volunteers on the bench.
- Certified Officials for all games.
Age Groups 2024/25:
- Little Hockey 1.0 = 2021 - 2020 - 2019
- Little Hockey 2.0 = 2018 - 2017
- Bronze Ball Hockey = 2016 - 2015 - 2014
- Silver Ball Hockey = 2013 - 2012 - 2011
- Gold Ball Hockey = 2010 - 2009 - 2008 - 2007
Little Hockey 1.0 + 2.0 2024/25:
When it's all about the little ones, The Hockey House has a great program we call little hockey.
An hour of rink time to let them run and burn off the endless amounts of energy.
With 45min of proper instruction by one of our coaching staff.
The floor is open at 3:15pm for the kids to enjoy some open rink time.
Coaching session is from 3:30pm to 4:15pm
BRONZE / SILVER / GOLD LEVEL BALL HOCKEY 2024/25:
The Hockey House offers winter ball hockey for the player who just wants to keep playing and not miss a beat come spring season. Bronze Silver and Gold divisions properly separate the kids into skilled categories where all players can compete and enjoy their season.
Flex Year Birth years 2024/25:
We will no longer be offering flex years in the league.
This will be replaced by a " player exception form "

Players 2006 and older
If you have friends who are in the Men's league already, you can join with their team.
If you are needing a team to play on, please register for our Men’s Program as a free agent.

If you are an 06 who's not ready to go onto playing mens hockey. You can complete our exception form to play another year of Youth Gold division. ( this form is a request to join and not a guaranteed spot )
Player Exception form :
While most players will fit into their division properly based on their birth year.
There are always a few exceptions.

TO BE CLEAR. this is an application form not a guarantee.
AFTER seeing your child participate in their proper evaluation session, if your request makes sense by the league then it will be granted.

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS 2024/25:
We are allowing 15 players and 1 goalie per team.
Divisions can accommodate a max. number of 6 teams. ( 90 players and 6 goalies ).
Once these divisions are full, we are not able to add any more players.
A waiting list will be created if we surpass max. numbers.
Dates you Need to Know 2023/24:
Little Hockey 1.0 October 3rd = First Session of Hockey.
Little Hockey 2.0 October 8th = First Session of Hockey.
Bronze Evaluations. October 5th - October 12th ( Both are mandatory )
Silver Evaluations. October 8th - October 15th ( Both are mandatory )
Gold Evaluations. October 3rd - October 10th ( Both are mandatory )
- October 17th = First league game ( Jerseys handed out )
- December 14th Final Games of the 2024 Calendar
- January 7th First Games of the 2025 Calendar
- February 27th = Final games of Ball Hockey for the season.
Game Times 2024/25:
All Games will follow a set schedule which will be found online for the season.
Little Hockey 1.0 - Thursday's 3:15-4:15pm ( 45min of instruction from 3:30-4:15pm )
Little Hockey 2.0 - Tuesday's 3:15-4:15pm ( 45min of instruction from 3:30-4:15pm )
Bronze Hockey - Saturday's 7:30am - 8:20am - 9:10am ( start times )
Silver Hockey - Tuesday's 4:20pm - 5:10pm - 6:00pm ( start times)
Gold Hockey - Thursday's 4:20pm - 5:10pm - 6:00pm ( start times)
Every Team will get a random rotation of the start times noted above.
Team requests :
The Hockey House does not take requests for players wanting to be on the same team as a friend.
Family members with a matching address are the only exception to this rule.
All of the games are at the same location. Within the division everyone will see each other at the rink every week. You will be around your friends at the rink regardless of which roster you are on.
I would like to Coach :
We are always looking for Coaches for the season. On your registration form simply check the box that you would like to coach and we would be happy to have you help out. If we receive more volunteers than needed. Coaches will be assigned based on quality of coaching they are able to offer the kids.
COST OF PLAY FOR THE FALL winter 2024/25 SEASON :
2017 born and younger = $200.00
2016 born and Older = $280.00
All Goalies = $200.00
The Hockey House accepts ( Cash, Debit, Visa, M/C ). ( No Cheques + No Amex )
Cost of play includes a pair of Hockey House League shorts for all players to wear during the season and keep.
REFUND POLICY for the fall winter 2024/25 Season:
League fees collected by the hockey house are a non refundable payment.
Only in the event of a forced / mandatory closure of the facility.
- The Hockey House will refund individuals 2016 and older $10.00, Multiplied by the number of regular season games missed in the season.
- The Hockey House will refund individuals 2017 and younger $7.00, Multiplied by the number of regular season games missed in the season.
- The Hockey House will refund Goalies of all ages $7.00, Multiplied by the number of regular season games missed in the season.
Refunds if needed will be issued at the end of the calendar season. ( Starting March 4th 2024 )
HOW to pay for the season 2024/25:
1. You must be registered by clicking on the register button bellow.
2. Payments for the 2024-25 Season will be done in person at the hockey house.
( you will be contacted by email with further instructions to payment dates at the arena )

We are more than happy to have these companies help cover the cost of your child's participation.
** These companies are a nightmare to deal with from our end. There are so many privacy laws to protect people asking for help, that they won't tell us the name of the child associated to the cheque that comes in the mail.
Please Make sure to bring us a reference number, an ID number or anything to reference the payment.
We need to cross reference it when it comes through if you are using these services.
